Hello! I am Liza, a UX designer with an engineering mindset, specialized in customer experience and information architecture. My strengths are innovation and creative thinking, integrating new technology and AI, and product & project management.
I started my career as a building architect, successfully leading the design and construction of 24+ complex projects. Over time, I discovered that my passion for design went beyond creating physical environments, so I transitioned into digital design, where I’ve successfully led projects for SaaS, B2B, B2C and e-commerce platforms.
At CX By Design Consulting, I currently drive UX design and research for a B2C & B2B e-commerce platform, most recently reducing support ticket volumes by 24% and saving 83% of work hours for the support team by streamlining the online purchasing process. I am passionate about solving complex problems through user-centered design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product vision with business goals.
I embrace a fast-paced, iterative design process and welcome constructive criticism. When I worked as an Architect, I developed a company-wide design framework that guided everyone's approach to design projects. Since then, I have adapted that framework for UX Design.
As an Architect I designed and delivered technically complex projects with $10M+ budgets and tight schedules. I learned how to excelled at cross-functional communication while managing 10+ outside agencies and 6 designers.
I'm an expert at conceptual thinking and design strategy. In my previous roles, I promoted innovation, created design systems, standardized processes, and developed brand identity.
